Ice cider Trebiñu
Special cider made with Errezil apple.
Description
This type of cider is obtained starting from the must that is formed by pressing the carefully selected Errezil-sagarra variety: this must is frozen and thawed twice, thus obtaining a concentrated must without water that is allowed to ferment. When the wort has reached 9-10 degrees, it is filtered and pasteurized. The result is a cider with a bright golden color, sweet on the palate, with a great roasted apple flavor that lasts for a long time.
Cider house Trebiñu
Our cider brewery is in Askartza, a small village in the Condado de Treviño. There we started to plant our first apple trees and make cider 14 years ago. Today our large orchard has 2,500 apple trees and this is the raw material we use to make Trebiñu cider.
